Flash2xs.com, LLC Policies on Artwork Content
We at Flash2xs.com, LLC are extremely proud of the substantial library of high-quality tattoo artwork we have acquired over the years. This would not have been possible if it weren’t for the rigorous processes we have in place to evaluate new artists and new artwork.
One of the strictest aspects of this process involves evaluating the content of the artwork itself to ensure that:
- The artwork does not contain copyrights we do not own or have license to use, or does not use these elements in the realm of fair use.
- The artwork specifically, or intrinsically through artistic intent depicts hatred towards a single person or group of people outside the realm of parody.
If the tattoo artwork delivered to us for acquisition conflicts with either of these policies, we reject it immediately.
Artwork that contains copyrighted material that we do not own, have license to use, or is not in the realm of fair use is illegal for us to sell and distribute. This is why TattooFinder.com does not have any designs featuring Disney or other cartoon characters, specific company logos, and so on. Until those companies give us license to distribute designs featuring their copyrighted elements, it is simply impossible for us to sell and distribute artwork of this type.
The second policy is a bit trickier. While what might be described as “hatred” could be in the eye-of-the-beholder, we use our best judgment to avoid acquiring designs that will completely offend and disenfranchise a majority of our customers. No matter what we do, the fact is some site visitors may still find some artwork to be offensive. To address this issue, we have made a “mature” filter available on the TattooFinder.com website, so that visitors can choose to exclude some designs from search results that we have determined may be offensive to some people. If you view a design on TattooFinder.com that you feel is “mature” despite using this filter, we ask that you please contact us so that we may review the design in question and determine if it should in fact be tagged for exclusion using this filter.
If visitors to any of our websites feel they have come across artwork that challenges either of the two policies above, we ask that you please contact us so that we may review the artwork in question. We take all inquiries very seriously.
